Dominique and Christopher are two absolutely amazing kids, they were over in the UK on holiday, and their parents commisioned me for a lifestyle shoot.

By the way in case you where thinking "whats a lifestyle shoot?"....As well as being a North west wedding photographer I also do whats now commonly known as lifestyle shoots. these are essentially family portraits done in the comfort of your own home or favorite park etc. The idea is that unlike a studio, where things can sometimes look a little "staged" a lifestyle shoot creates the photographer an opportunity to truly capture the essence of a smile.

What is a lifestyle shoot?

These are typically photographic sessions where I will come to your home or favorite place and literally capture moments, These can be from portrait style to more candid type images. From tot to toddler to teen. Have a look here on my website for prices and toddler photographer info.

Closer to home!

As well as wedding photography in Lancaster I also do what I call lifestyle shoots traditionally known as portrait shoots, so when my wife asked me this evening to quickly put together a photo of our kids for granny...how could I refuse?.

I hurriedly shot this in my front room, all of my lifestyle shoots are in locations in and around Lancaster. It may be your favourite park like Williamson park which houses the magnificent Ashton Memorial or a local beauty spot that holds a special place in your heart.

Just before the shoot started I captured this shot whilst my daughter was waiting for her brother to get off the playstation!

My photography is all about capturing moments in time, there are many fantastic studio photographers out there, and they shoot amazing portraits, however i prefer to work in real life locations.

The Fench Photo Shoot!

On Saturday i had the pleasure of spending some time with Steve and Sally French and their wonderful daughter Molly.

Molly Rose was born on the 11/07/2007 at 8:34 am at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.

She weighed in at 7 pounds 14 ounces

She was a good as gold, and was fascinated with the strange man behind the camera!
